About Us

The University Police Department is the agency responsible for security, emergency response and the detection and prevention of crime on campus.Located in Pathfinder Hall on campus, the department's jurisdiction consists of property owned or controlled by the college.

The department is staffed by trained, professional police officers.  University Police officers attend a 6 month training session at the Central New York Police Academy in Syracuse.  Their training meets or exceeds mandated state requirements for police officers in New York State.  The University Police Department is available to respond to campus incidents 24 hours a day at 312-5555 or simply 5555 on a campus telephone.  For parking related issues such as tickets, holds and permits call 312-3227 during normal business hours or e-mail the parking office at any time. Call 312-5555 at all other times.
